However, I didn't know about the £8 charge levied by our Post Office. I had to go into town to pay for it at the Sorting Office

I paid for my duty and handling fee online.

I could have then also arranged for a more convenient re-delivery (can be done online too), but was itching to get my hands on the 2 Preons I'd ordered - Christmas presents for family - so I went to the sorting office and picked them up...

BTW if you don't want the long wait and possibility of dealing with customs, 4Sevens has a Poland-based online store (Quarks / Preons / other kit). Its a bit more expensive, but then there'll not be a customs / handling charge.

chrisWeld,

The Polish shipping is a great bit of info. I certainly use that after the festive season when I can determine how much cash I have left.

A happy and prosperous New Year to all.
