I found myself a nice vintage portable 1970s emergency lantern which can function as fully adjustable battery lamp, camping lantern, flashlight and emergency blinker light.

Model DL-75C
It takes 4 D-cell batteries or one 4R25X lantern battery.

I replaced the incandescent light bulb with a warm white LED variant found on Amazon

Very happy with it. I will use it together with my BLF-LT1 lanterns to light my home when the power is out.

Haha!! That lantern is too cool. Case and controls sorta looks like my kitchen hand mixer

I like that. The positioning head is simple but very effective. Perfect when working and you need a light aimed just so like wiring or working on your brakes.
