OK, now I am confused...

The results I observed and reported earlier were based on the data obtained by placing my mouse pointer over the wireless icon in my tool bar. The program that runs the software also has a survey selection to identify what wireless signals are around, and what their signal strength is.

The program shows 51% no matter if the antenna is on or off or rotated front or backward. The tool bar icon signal strength shows a difference, as reported before, but the program signal strength remains the same.

I am scratching my head and pondering...

S.MadPotato, an attack against a poster adds hostility to a thread, but nothing else. Re-wording your post to address the topic instead of the poster would be appreciated.

Edit: Nevermind. I removed the post.

Jeez, it was just a joke, I don't really think its fair to call that an "attack", it's not like I called him any names or cussed at him...
