It's very true that you can do it that way as well, I just found that it's a bit easier to avoid damaging the electronics if you lift the driver, unless you have just the right long nose pliers. A little too wide or short, and the pliers likes to come loose and rip off components

Well check the post above. He said he had about 100 of those cool trefoil clips made. So I'm guessing he plans on making a few more light to go with them.

Green scotchbrite pad, typically used for washing dishes. It'll look like new...

By hand is fine. Only takes a couple of minutes to do the whole light...

There will be no more lights until May. Bart is completely sold out of tritium vials. If I get a strong commitment on buying a red one, I'll make it. If not, I won't make any more red. Only green and blue.
