Can My PD be Upgraded?

I have a TBin McLux III PD that I received a year and a half ago from CPF member Bwaites and was wondering if it can be upgraded with a Seoul ? If so are there CPF members that do the upgrade for a charge? Thanks

Here is a thread with some DIY pictures of me swapping a T-bin LED to a U-bin luxeon in a PD. The Seoul upgrade will be the same for the most part (you will just need to sand down the backside of the McR20 or buy a McR20S). Send me a PM and I may be able to do the swap for you.

I've been thinking about getting an upgrade as well - which type of emitters are available?

Right now I've been having good results with Seoul SSCP4 emitters, typically USWOH bin for a nice, neutral white. Reflector can be tuned for longer throw or transition of more light into the sidespill for a smoother-intensity beam edge to edge, at the expense of some throw.
