For those unfamiliar, the Vital Gear FB1 accepts a CR123 battery, has a black chrome pocket clip and a silent switch. (forward clicky). The switches are rated at 1.2A; I have seen them function with 5A quad drop ins, and others in between; however this is not recommended. These are the (preferred) coil spring versions..

Everyone who asked for one should be notified. There were only 5. There will be more. The issue is the switches. They are very labor intensive to restore to "as new" after sitting for so many years.
Meantime, lots of black E2C adapters are still available.

One question on the E2C adapter. Is it fully anodized throughout, or left bare inside (down to the base threads)? My understanding is that with such setup no LED modules would be compatible until after interior stripping.
Also is the E2C in standard HAII black?

The Vital Gear E2C adapter is 100% plug and play. It works perfectly, with LED heads and drop ins, as is, with no stripping or modification of any kind.

The Vital Gear E2C adapter is finished in HAII black only, there are no HA Natural, grey, or green, E2C's from the factory.
