Ingenious but nothing that can't be done as easily by learning a couple of knots.

A word of caution, these are only rated to 50 lbs. A piece of 5mm paracord is good for 550 lbs and 5mm climbing accessory cord probably nearer 700 lbs breaking strain. The right knot will likely be much stronger as well as weightless and free at the point of use.

An excellent case of a solution looking for a problem, but I would put this on the shelf next to my motorcycle ashtay, and chocolate teapot.

My only question would be - why not use a knot, FFS?

You can carry an infinite number of knots on your keyring, without the corresponding weight and bulk or even cost of one of these
