Dented button top.

I dropped a light yesterday at home and today I checked the unprotected button top battery and found the button top had been dented. I was quite surprised by this as it was a double springed light.

Light still works ok so was wondering if this was a danger.

Ive read of people deliberately denting flattop batteries outwards to make them work in lights designed for button tops. I think you can even find guides online.
There shouldn't be any issues, the space underneath the button is hollow & there should be no cell damage.

the button top had been dented.

As long as it works, leave it that way but if dented cell does not work or contact in other flashlight, you can fill up dented area with tiny globe of tin.
