Does this panasonic 18500 look legit?

Got it off ebay cause it had the quickest shipping time, reasonable price and from the US, charged it up and it 4.2v fine and seems to be working OK the only thing that looks weird is most the photos I see online show them with some identifying info on them this one just has a QR code and some digits on it.

Yeah, it appears like a NCR18500 unprotected cell

I don't buy li-ion off of eB.

To be safe next time purchase cells from Illumn Supply, SJ, CA.. Orbtronic, located in FL is another good source. These two online dealers do not sell counterfeit batteries

Are you planning on running that cell in a camera or flashlight?

Came across a Fraz Labs Tiny Nugget on ebay as well actually, missed the last drop so I swiped that one. Basically was trying to get a battery ASAP just to make sure everything functioned properly. I was was actually wondering if anyone had suggestions for a protected battery that may fit this light? I was little concerned about carrying it in my bag with an unprotected cell but the more I'm reading it seems like the only time one of these batteries is particularly likely to go nuclear is during charging

Just noticed that Panasonic 18500 from a seller I'v used. Same outer cover ect..

I do think it's a legit Panasonic.
