All current pending Ti order have the option to upgrade for $30 (the difference between the two price) and will be among the first to receive the upgrade option. What do you guys think is this "fair"?

As for the chrome retrofit please hold tight for 1-2 weeks so I can get the new converter e-can.

What's the difference between the Chrome pluggin upgrade option and the luxeon to XR-E swap/upgrade option? Is the swap simply just that, nothing more than the swap? What are differences between the stock converter and the V2? (drive currents of each?) I see the pluggin has a modded reflector with it...if we go for option #3 (upgrade/swap), then the reflector is unchanged? Doesn't the reflector need to be modded anyway for the Cree to fit? If the reflector is not the same as in option one, are there draw backs? Cruddy hole?

I'm am not understanding fully the differences between option #1 and #3, basically, and what the two options mean in terms of all around performance. I see the pluggin option says Premium Cree XR-E...what will the swap get, non premium?

Last, but not least, if I buy a $155 Chrome XR-E (if there are any left), will I be, basically, getting a Chromy with option #1 in it?
