Shown here with my 18650 to 3C adapter and a 3C ML25.

Might come in handy if you have some 14500's and you want to be able to run them in a 18650 light and it also might help when charging an 14500 in a charger intended for 18650's that doesn't work well with 14500's.

Recently I have been buying Malkoff MD2's & MD3......

But my EDC pocket light has been my Zebralight SC80 since 2012. It is perfect at work for checking our mambas, cobras and other snakes within their hide boxes.
I also use it a lot at the shooting range to check actions are clear (I'm a NRA RCO).

These adapters are just sick!

And I mean that in a good way too!

Thanks.

I have gone a bit overboard designing and printing these adapters, but is is fun. I am learning 3D printing so I figured I might as well come up with some flashlight related projects, besides I like being able to use multiple fuels in my lights.

I was perusing my collection and am giddy that my sd4a can take a d-cell, 11,000mah, nimh battery, as well as AA's in the supplied battery carrier. i know my rechargeable maglites can ditch the battery pack for c-cell or d-cell alkalines in a pinch, but are there other lights out there that are as flexible?

Do you mean designed to be able to or CPF'r able to?

Like my 3xAAA battery carrier LuxPro fed by an 18500? Perhaps a vintage 2C fed by a pair of LifePo4 18500's to provide a couple hundred lumens from a classic 20 lumen light? A 3C fed off 2x 18650's?

Or the Streamlight ProTac 1Laa duel fuel that can run off a triple A in tough times?

Or the SureFire 9P fed off 2aa's using a Malkoff M31?

Or do you mean like a 2x123 MD2 using an 18650 as it was designed as an either or light?
Or the Streamlight ProTac HL5 that was designed to run brighter from 2x 18650's than 4 CR123's? Yup it runs brighter off 7+ volts than 12-ish volts. Now that is amazing.

I meant flexible like different types of batteries. That indestructible navy seal zoomie on the 30 minute tv ads was given to my partner. It uses 3aaa and I think it's a bell & howell. The first thing he did was take out the carrier and run it on an 18650

Looking for and adapter that will allow me to use a single AA in a E2E. Anyone ever see a AA-2x123 adapter?

I have 3D printed those, they fit 14500's and AA's, though I don't know if an AA has enough Voltage to run a E2E.

My ML25 with some adapters:

The adapters will run 7 types of cells in addition to the original C cells in a 2C light – AAA, AA, CR123A, 16340, 14500, 18650 and 21700.

Okay, @XXO, where do you get those neat adapters?

I made them myself (3D printed).

I started to sell them on the bay and still have a few left but I don't know when or if I will be making any more as I do not have access to a 3D printer at the moment.
