Sorry to butt in here, but it's not safe to run it on a CR123 or LiCo16340. IMR16340 or IMR18350 are the safe cells to use.

I recall Mac said you can still use CR123 or regular 16340, just not on high. I just tested it on my Tri-EDC with a CR123, if you turn it on to high, after a few seconds it goes dimmer by itself to a safe level for the battery
