I believe it was decided that a P7 flat top was used for an XHP70 so I'm sure it would accommodate a 16mm star. You'll probably have to center it yourself but that shouldn't be too difficult to get close enough.

Can you confirm if the P7 flat top doesn't have a lip on top, so the heatsink can be placed deeper into the body?

I can't see that clearly in your pictures.

I'm sorry all heatsink has lip. To place it deeper into the body, you have to remove the lip
