Too confusing coming in late like this; also I'm relatively new to the forum. I can't even figure out who I would be buying from...but thanks for your response. I think I'll get a moded version from Vinh N.

I spent a great deal of time reading, and a lot of info is summarized in my signature links. Feel free to send me private message to explore your interests further. I would need to know a bit more about your experience, preferences, and intended use of a light.

There are feature preferences to figure out:

N219 vs XP-G2 LEDs (High CRI vs High Brightness)
mode sequences with Low first vs second
how low a low is most useful to me
what kind of batteries I want to use
difference in weight between copper and other materials
difference between clickie switches and twisty operation…
