I have to admit I'm not much into new technology as I'm an older guy who wasn't born into this stuff like a lot of you younger guys were. That's why I ask you younger, more knowledgeable guys about stuff like this! 🥰

I have an iPod Mini 4 that I have downloaded most of the apps for music, radio and whatever. I like them a lot but they are filled with commercials! I have heard that if you have a dedicated Internet Radio, they can be heard without commercials. Is that correct?

Would it be worth my money to get an Internet Radio or just stick with he apps on my iPad? Thanks much!

Check out radio.garden. For the noncommercial stations I've listened to there, it plays one ad upfront when you dial in a station, then it's clear sailing. And it has a fun user interface.
