We love powerful, high-lumen flashlights, but not every situation requires the brightest light.

For emergency situations, it's great to have a reliable source of light that doesn't require much power.

That's what's so great about the Fenix E-Star portable flashlight.

Powered by a low-discharge rechargeable battery (included) or a single AA battery, it produces up to 100 lumens of light.

If the battery runs out, the E-Star can power up by pumping the built-in charging handle — so you'll never be without light in an emergency.
Don't get caught in the dark. Keep a Fenix E-Star in your glovebox and another one for your emergency kit, and you'll always be prepared!

For real. I thought the same thing. When it said low-lumen emergency light I was thinking of the original E01 or similar.

The Surefire P60 incan lamp at 65 lumens was once considered "tactical" lighting for an EDC duty light!
