Couldn't wait to get this light (not selling in the U.S. at this time), so I bought the M7R. It's a great light and a real improvement over the P7. I also own the P14 and am looking forward to purchasing the M14 just the same.

Led Lenser is in a league all their own, and are much more that just a high powered LED and an Orange Peel Reflector!

Looking forward to future comparisons now that Led Lenser M-Series lights are regulated.

Before M14 I had P14. The M14 is more copmact, it is 4cm shorter.
It is obviously bright than P14. The beam spot is more concentrated. The real usable distance is more than 50 meters compared to P14 in my opinion. The constant current control do very good job. M14 OFFICIALY works with Ni-Mh and Lithium batteries this is written in the user manual.
