Looking for help with burned out Mr. Bulk Ti Dragon

My dog placed an AW 18650 battery backward in my newly bought Mr. Bulk Ti Dragon light.
I saw a tiny flash and smelled a burned smell.
Looking at the battery contact, it looks a little melted.
When I screw the light back on, it turns on, but when it's completely screwed on, the light has a bluish tint.
I also have to unscrew the light to turn it off.

I don't know enough about electronics to know if the circuits are beyond repair, or if the melted part is contacting some circuit and shorting it out.
Any help I can get would be appreciated.

P.S. The light is a Seoul P4 emitter I was told, original to the flashlight.

Thanks

Darn dog, no biscuits!
Can you take the head apart enough to get a clear shot Of the driver? I don't know much at all about these torches

I should have done that.
I sent it off to someone to look at.
If we have no luck, I'll post a picture when it comes back to me.
I was wondering if someone can diagnose it by the behavior, whether the melted battery contact is shorting out a circuit, or whether it's completely fried.
