The updated 2D classic is a bit over 200 lumens, has a several hours runtime and an optional low that appears nearly as bright but has like 10x the run time of high.
When it first came out in 019 Grainger hardware store was the only place to buy it and only available in black but now Maglite sells it at their site in several colors. Classic 2D only better.
Does the updated classic and the the classic incandescent have the old switch or the newer electronic one?

Mechanical switch Dica.

The incan minimag was probably the most popular Maglite. They say at one point one was being sold every xx seconds.
My 332 lumen camo one is S/N 4,xxx,xxx but pre-serial numbered versions were very popular.

BTW has anybody seen an XL300? Wiki mentioned that model but I'd never heard of that one.

At one time, they were selling 150,000 Mags per day - almost 2 per second or more than 54 million per year.
