Nothing was close to 2x18650 2"C" M*g with WA1111 bulb back then.
800 Lumens for close to an hour run time.

For LED lovers possible to use
1 "C" M*g with 18650 and proper D26 module.

Left: LF D36 - - - Right: 2xC123A with genuine P60

The 2C and 3C ML25IT are great little lights...if a bit bizarre as something to introduce in, what, 2016? I was (pleasantly) surprised to see them release any new incandescent products. I'm sure they would have done very well if they had been introduced before LED took over.

My two biggest lights, one is 90w osram bulb overdriven to 200w, with FM reflector, runs on 5x 18650, or 26650 cells. another is a par 36 landing light from an aircraft. runs on 8x C cells, alkalines. both of these are shelf queens, next to 0 practicality.
