Can someone more knowledgeable with moddoolar heads tell me if the head in the picture matches the head in the description?

It says it's an H3 head. I'm not so sure.
Any help?

"H" indicates 15W and "3" indicates three modes. No way to tell whether it's an H1, H3, L1, or L3 without seeing the text inside of the bezel. Not sure why someone would lie about it though... It's definitely a Moddoolar head if that's what you're worried about.

Is the head in this picture an H3 HML Cool XPG2? Or is it an older model?

So you are saying that Oveready shipped the head in your pics and my pic below to you on February 12 2014?

my pics were taken when i posted my for sale thread... Then i took some more of it when i shipped it... You have the link to all the pics i took... I never took the head apart and this was my 1st moddoolar. The quality of the head is there, i mean there's no reason for me to even change any parts on the head. i did not even open the head at all like yr pics as its working perfectly...

No, I can't. I've never personally seen a head that doesn't have the version, level sequence, etc visible from the front, as depicted in post 2. It's possible (but I have no idea how likely) that the identification strip simply wasn't applied when it was manufactured, and it fully matches the invoice.

Typically, I'd look at the boards that the emitters sit on to determine whether it's an XP-G vs XP-G2. Or at the emitter themselves to determine if it's a different emitter entirely. The optic doesn't allow them to be seen well enough for identification.

Do the tint and level sequence match what it's supposed to be?
