I just asked PEU for permission (which he granted) to offer a
mod for his beautiful BL's (especially the limited nickel
plated ones)

The mod will feature silver coated springs adjusted for
1/8 to 1/4 turn between low and high. Low will be engaged
first and then further turning will make it high - just
like it was stock.

Basically an NG500 on low will run 6 hours on primaries
and 80 minutes on rcr2's rated 300mah.

You can have Pablo send your BL with a NG to me and I'll mod
it and turnkey it back to you for $40. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

UPDATE:

I've been asked about the fate of the hard annodized units many times in the last few days. They will be made or not?

The answer is, it depends on how I end the discussion with the anno shop because:

They owe me the cost of the total of units they ruined.

This was the only one I found willing to do any color/finish requested.

So, if they pay me and are willing to do the run again, then there is a go with the exact conditions.

But, if they dont pay me, I will ate the cost and have to look for another shop, and probably the color/finish choices will be reduced.

I guess I will have a definitive answer from the shop owner in a few days.

In the meantime please look:

These are units with small blemishes, and some with minor details or maybe I'm too meticulous (probably the case /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif ) that I see problems where there are none /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Some of these units where posted in this very thread two months ago post

Blemishes: minor color difference between the body and tailcap, key ring hole with the wall too thin or some menor detail in the HA3 layer.

I assembled all these with NG400 converters and plan to sell them with a discount. If you are interested please post here or send me a PM.

I guess tomorrow or wednesday I will have an answer from the anno shop.
