The right way? I don't know how anyone could put it on the wrong way. Threads with no coating go towards light. It's working fine now as far as how hard I have to screw it tight, I just had to work it a bit.

Now I have two. One regular L1T using split 3 volt battery from the CR-V3 and this one with modded body using the cr123a. I have 4 of those split batteries left so I'm going to be using that one for awhile too. I'll be testing to see which battery lasts longer. I'm kinda torn here cause I like the size of both. Decisions, decisions. The cr123a is definitely a lot cheaper being those split batteries aren't any cheaper online than locally.

Does the CR123 body maintain the multi-level functionality of the L1T?

Hi 4sevens,

does the CR123 Body also works with the Fenix L1T modified with McR-18 and UWAJ Luxeon from your Fenix-Store?

Greetings.

Dirk

Yes it does, but it adds a little more gap between the head and the
body due to the McR-18. But the head covers the oring, so it should be fine

A little slow to the party, but very happy with my cake and eating it too! ;)

CR123A body from Fenix-Store for my L2T; makes it smaller, lighter, and very nice fit and finish. I took the chance and found two 3.6v RCR123 batteries from lighthound.com that fit the Nekomane body.

using this charger, so I have the option for 3.0v RCR123 batts in the future,

Are there any more of the CR123 bodies floating around? I just found out that the Fenix Store is sold out of them and I am hunting for one. Thanks!

I thought this thread was long dead :D

Regarding any CR123 bodies for the L1D/L2D, short answer: no.
For a longer explanation, please check this post.

fuw3, they sometimes pop up on BST. You might want to try there, good luck!

Does anyone have one of the Nekomane CR2 bodies they might part with, preferable with Tritium? I have one and am seeking another.

Sure will, Ladd. You know a bit of time has passed since your last post when your once state of the art torches are suddenly "vintage!!"

I hope I'm not too late. I just found one in an old shoe box of junk....along with a CR123 body. The CR2 has 3 trit slots, but only one vial remains (green).

PM incoming.

I'll take it if they don't want it. I don't have one.
