Re: XP-G2 / P60 STYLE MODULES

Hi

I have not received shipping notices yet but I do have 4000k and 5000k XP-G2's on the way. i did not expedite shipping so around a week maybe a bit more. Hard to get someone to break a reel.

Thanks

Dave

Hello Dave,

I have few questions, how does the light's performance differ say if we compared a dropin with voltage range of 3.6-10 compared to 2.8-6? All other remain constant.
What's really the trade off between the two?

Last but not least, is the free potting offer still offered?

Thanks.

Hi

Lumen wise there is little difference, it is about the voltage. You will get the best efficiency by picking the driver closest to the voltage you use the most often. If you are using 2X16340 then you need the higher voltage if you are using a 1X li ion cell then choose the 6 volt. The higher voltage drivers are not as efficient running one cell as they are running two.

Will you offer a L/M/H driver in the future?

Are you still doing free potting? Planning to order soon (and will want potting) so I was wondering how much to add to the purchase price.
