Beamshot anyone? Outside. Across the room. Something that will show depth?

My wife isn't mad enough at me yet.

Hi

It is not outside but there is a wall shot showing color on the first page. The beam looks just like any XML respective of smooth or Op reflectors. It is very much a incan color as shown.

What light source was used for that photo? A high cri xpg of some sort? It is very nice. Gives you a warm and fuzzy.

Hi

LOL it was what this thread was all about, a 90+ CRI XML. It actually is a bit less beige looking than the picture, it has such good color rendition that it picked up a bit of the off white wall. It is very incan looking with excellent color rendition, these are true 92+ CRI emitters not just warm whites or neutrals.

I'd also like to see some outdoor shots. Possibly being compared against a HCRI FourSevens light, Malkoff M61 Nichia 219, etc.

Hi

WOW I hope someone has all those lights as I don't have ANY! As you can see on the first page it is nothing tint wise like a 219 which makes sense since one is 3000k and one is 4500k. Also it will be hard to compare apples to apples when one is 200 lumens and one is 500 lumens and one is XPG size while one is a large XML.

Maybe someone will have something but please keep the picts with in regs for the forum.

Sorry Dave, I should've clarified I wasn't asking for this from you, per se, but from anyone out there who may happen to have one or more of the above. Those are three I've heard about recently here on the forum, and I'm just curious as to the tint differences between them.

It is hard to get an idea of the CRI capability of your drop-in with there only being a wall in your picture in the OP. If you could take a pic outside in your backyard with some trees, or something else that would give us an idea of the CRI abilities, that would be wonderful.

stupid question

What does "replacement module" mean? How is it different from any other D26 drop in?

HI

It is the same as any D26 module but if it doesn't come with the original host I myself would call it a replacement module, they are the same as I have sold for ever.

Can you make a tower module for the M6 using these hi-cri XMLs?

HI

At this time they are T6 1A only. I do not have pads that will fit the towers and the ones with the 1A's can not be removed and replaced.

sorry

So good I need second identical to the first:
:paypal:ErikP for D26 drop-in: XM-L, 90-CRI, S6 flux, 7A2 tint *direct drive*, smooth reflector, potted
(Unique Transaction ID # 6FE9335140582964W)

At 3A, these get hot quick, but no tint shift what-so-ever.

Thanks!

Re: 90+ HIGH CRI CREE XML P60 / D26 replacement modules.

I'm gonna place an order for a "2.8 - 6 volts. 3.1 amps regulated. 2 levels (high 100% / low 5%)" module but since we're past two weeks of its introduction do you want/need me to pay for potting? I don't mind either way!
