As you know Sanyo Eneloop is now Fujitsu. Panasonic is a copy. I pick Fujitsu before Panasonic with price being equal.

I would agree that is a good deal, from a trusted seller stating clearly "made in Japan".

But the issue of Panasonic branded Eneloops is a little more complex than you state, I think this is the most credible explanation:

I did hit this deal, especially when I found that it shipped free, at least for 3 packs. I did pay Michigan sales tax, but no biggie. If you want some AAA's to go with them, check on Amazon - 12 packs are even cheaper per cell, and shipped free, no tax for me.

Me too, very pleased. Deal is alive, just went up four cents to $9.35. I added a 12 pack of AAA's from Amazon for $26.99 shipped free and am good to go!
