I've recently purchased a baton pro. Unbox it, charge it, and then proceed to test it out. Turn it on and start going through the modes, everything is fine until you try to go into turbo. The light Shuts off and won't turn back on.
Immediately hook it back up you the charger after it happens and it turns on immediately into turbo mode. And as long as it's on charge turbo will work fine.
Unhook it from the cable and it will die again going into turbo. But all other modes work fine. If you unscrew the tail cap and reattach the light comes on.
Tried a couple of backup cr123 batteries from another light and all functions worked. Even the double click into turbo. Albeit not as bright because of the battery output.
Could this just be a bad cell? Protection kicking it out? Or a driver issue?
