Just picked this little guy up on the amazon Father's Day sale for ten bucks shipped. Figure at that price it's a good gamble and probably a win either way. The objective would be to displace my Fenix L0dce-q4 as an edc keychain light. Not sure if this will or not but it sure is impressive on first impressions!

Factory specs are 90lm for 45 min on the included alkaline AAA. Based on how much brighter this is than the Fenix I would say the output is not over rated. Going to do a runtime test later to check that out as well as to test if it cuts off or has a moon mode or what not. A sharp cut off woth little to no warning would be a major turn off as it could leave me in the dark with no notice and potentially no back up.

Build quality looks great. Supposed to be type iii hard ano (non-silver units). Threads are solid and smooth square cut. Led and optic are clear and well centered. Light comes with an appropriate amount of o ring line applied.

As a keychain light it certainly fits the physical requirements. It's downright tiny compared to the Fenix. Key ring mount is sturdy but forgoes tail standing. Not a frequent need but a nice feature during unexpected blackouts and may turn some folks off. I also noted the exposed driver components on the board in the head. Gut feeling is a concern for harsh use
Durability but then it's not like the battery can move around to hit them. Probably could diy pot it but if it works why worry about it.

All in all looks to be a bright, great little light. Might do a water glass test to see if there is any seepage but based on the overall feeling of quality I'm sure the ipx8 isn't false advertising. My only problem with it is the single high mode with no way to conserve battery life; 45 min runtime just isn't a whole lot in some conditions which I might call upon it (eg camping, roadside car repair, etc). I'll update with runtime test later.

Well my highly calibrated eyeball showed it dropping out of regulation just shy of 45 min on the included alkaline aaa. Currently at 64 min and still producing nice, useable light. Probably 2-3x the output of my gs modded photon microlight ii.

I bought the silwer one with 120 lumens. I have never did a runtime test but seeing this I will. I run a 750mah Duracell NiMh in it.

I have been carrying the GoingGear special copper i3e on my keychain for quite some time now (long enough that it has a nice patina). I keep a lithium primary in it, and for keychain use of no longer than a minute at a time with plenty of rest, I get a ton of mileage out of each cell.

It displaced my NW XPG2 Thrunite Ti3 due to how small it is by comparison and nice clear tint, even if I'm generally a fan of warmer tints.

I got 39 minutes before the light went dim. Then it lasted about 8 minutes on low. The 39 minutes were intermittent as it did got hot, so I let it cool down after every 7 minutes of run time.

This is the first AAA LED that is small enough to carry on my keychain. I don't like a lot of thngs on it. I may remove the coin cell light. The Olight is the smallest AAA light I have ecver owned. Time will tell if it is a good one.

I really like these little Olights, simple on/off at a great price and available in several colors. One of my top picks as a gift light for non-flashoholics. Output is good for a AAA and the build quality seems better than what you might expect at this price point, among the smallest of all my AAA lights as well.I think this light is overlooked by some as it is better than the price would suggest. Nice pics and review Buck 91!
