Although I have about a dozen or so Convoy S2+ and similar,, cigar sized lights, and smaller lights, around the house, it seems that more often than not, when they need a light, they'll reach for my 3 D cell maglight, or the Defiant 3 C Super Thrower!

I recall that when camping with the scouts, my grandson would choose my Defiant triple as his light of choice, along with a headlamp.

Considering that they seem to prefer lights that are larger than the S2+ I decided to get the Mag ML25LT, and it's compatible magcharger, 18650 adapter.

My family prefers the closest light available most of the time.....or their celphone 🥴

Since I have a bunch of lights laying around they have a selection.

My parents have a lot more lights than I do(because I've been updating them every few years for a couple of decades), but are stuck on Streamlight 2xAAA lights. I used to get those for free, and suppose the money I've since spent on several sets of newer, nicer lights that were meant to replace them was all wasted.

Enbrighten lithium ion rechargeable+3D lantern, 1100 lumen Klarus ST15 18650 light with charge cap, rechargeable 1300 lumen Bushnell flashlight, 550 lumen Costco headlights (modified battery cases) run on Nitecore lithium ion batteries made for UT-27, Nitecore NU20 headlight, and a couple other 18650 lights run on Fenix 2600 mAh 18650s with built in charge ports. Gave family members the lights that charge with usb so they have the same convenience as plugging in a cell phone. Had too many lights destroyed by alkalines already.
