Problem with LaCross BC-700 in TEST mode

My LaCrosse BC-700 doesn't properly run the TEST mode on cells that start off fully charged.


The user guide says: "In the Test mode the rechargeable batteries will first be fully charged and then discharged to determine the capacities. Finally, the rechargeable batteries are charged up again"


None of that seems to happen. Maybe 30 minutes after putting in a charged NiMH cell, the display says Full.


Any ideas?

I have the BC-900, but I dont think you can use a fully charged cell. Try using the discharge feature for an hour or so then the test mode after that.
