I'm thinking of getting a Quark 123 Turbo X. I'm moving away from primary 123 batteries, and I'm wondering if this light can run properly on 2x18350 IMR's. I can't find anything about this specific combo. Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Ya they won't fit in the battery tube. Its only rated up to 17670's. Unless of course you can get an 18650 body. It could run of of 2 RCR123's. Better off just getting a 17670.

I've done some reading regarding this light and Li-Ion cells.

This light fit the AW 17670 just barely, you may need to remove the AW sticker.

Given that, I would probably send it out to have it bored to accept 18mm Diameter cells

I kinda figured they would be too wide. Can the body be bored, or is it too thin? Is anyone set up to do it with this body?

And if that route turns out to be too much trouble, would it be worth it to get a 2AA Turbo, or is it not significantly different than my regular 2AA Quark X Tactical?

I'm regretting selling my Quark 18650 body...
