I just bought the 5000k one (StephenK's fault, lol). I just paid 30 seconds ago, I still couldn't get the code to work. Arghh!
I'll try a few times with a second one and cancel the one I just ordered if I can get the code to work. Did you order the 5000k or the cool white?

Update: Thanks CrazyEddieTheFirst but I couldn't get the code to work. Tried multiple times. It's still a good price without the code but that sure would have been nice. Now off to buy the new shorter 26650 Keeppower that are recommended for this light. I wish Gearbest carried those batteries.

You can either trust the vendor, or not... There is nothing the vendor can say or do to "prove" that what they have stated is true, and that what you will receive if you order them, will be the exactly the same. You will simply have to order and validate it. If you find them to be fake, you can demand your money back, and you can let others know what happened to you.

Ultimately you should purchase the cells from a vendor you trust.

I just purchased some Sanyo cells from a vendor in another country, and I have no idea if they are real or fake. I'll just have to toss one on the hobby charger to test the capacity. Even if that fits the claims for the cell, it does not prove that it is actually made by Sanyo. I do trust the vendor and I'm confident I have not been ripped off. But... I'm still testing the capacity!
