I'm also exploring a 2xAAA version, but have to iron out any actual machining problems yet. Would use the same DS clip as the 14500 Nova.

very nice design. out of curiosity, would you ever consider a run in copper (for either the aa or aaa design)?

Thanks guys, we'll see how the 2xAAA goes first, 1xAAA would either need another driver or be 10440 only.

For those who signed up for the flared tail will those still be made or are you dropping that option completely?
The flared tail has been dropped, it doesn't fit with the design.

I'd consider copper if I found a suitable alloy, but the usual C145 is much too soft, and I haven't been able to acquire some that looked promising.
