I just received my 219Cs from Richard, and they will be going to Serge to be made into 371D boards.

This is very good to hear. All three of the above lights look amazing!

Me three on serge with nichia please

it's not correct saying "serge driver" coz it's also Vic's and Anna's and some other guys.
So, just to make things simple and correct it is LUX-RC LABS fully regulated switching zero-loss wireless programmable triple driver :)

Thanks for the information as it's always good to give credit where it's due.

Quite right, we'll go with the driver designation, Lux-RC 371D

So, I finally got back in the shop a bit over thanksgiving break and tried out some Titanium, and a minor incident aside the stuff is pleasant to work with overall, so I'll be offering it as an option from here on out.
Titanium hosts will be 18500 sized only, and will be $450 base price.

I'll add both the Titanium option and Lux-RC 371D option to the sheet and first page. I would appreciate it if those on the list who are interested in the 371D would update their options soon as I need to know well in advance how many I need due to shipping times and their expensive price.

On another note, those interested in titanium, would you prefer a grooved finish, or a smooth finish? I like both and am having trouble deciding which to offer for titanium. The darker one was heated red-hot and quenched then brushed, hence the difference in color.

Another shot of the new tail and bezel profiles.

Raw Ti. Let end users customize finish.

The grooves just look like machining marks in the pics, might look different first hand and if I used it and it added substantial grip I'd probably be all for it.

I'll post a a closer photo later, but the groove is an artifact of feeding in a certain fashion, and is similar to a very fine thread on the surface. I do find the feeling to be nice and it lends grip to the piece.

I do not intend to offer any finishing beyond the usual brushing of the machined surface, as the flame treatment builds an oxide layer that changes the dimensions of the light by a couple thousandths.

Thanks for the input.

Totally love the Dark heated/brushed Ti. Unfortunately, no 18650 option is a total deal breaker for me. 18650's are all I run.

I was just about to update my driver info and noticed you had already taken care of that for me, thanks. I've looked at the photo several times and think I really like the sharper transition from the waistline of the light. They both look outstanding but for some reason I like the quick transition.

The Prometheus Alpha "Ready Made" lights have this same texture. It does add a little grip to an otherwise smooth surface.

Slight miscalculation on my part, it is supposed to be the 30 degree waist instead of the sharp 45 degree one. I personally prefer the shallower wasit, and find it more comfortable honestly.

Curious how deep those are, I know they actually do a thread on those.

Thanks for updating my order!
I've got a couple of lights from OR with this driver in it (drop in, WASP, BOSS), glad you're offering this as an option. Right now your light is the only one I have any interest in.
Thanks, I'm flattered.

I would like to change:
My aluminum light to Titanium with Lux-RC 371D nichia 219c.
And also Lux-RC 371D with XPL for my brass light please.
Sure thing, I primarily intend to order 219Cs in the 371D drivers from here on out, but I have an XP-L one I can install.

LUX-RC 371D nichia 219C
Thanks
Sure thing.

Couple clarifications so we are all on the same page, all titanium lights will be raw, I'm not offering any heat treating. The question posed earlier, is whether I should do like the Al-Bronze lights and use a grooved surface instead of a smooth surface.
Some close photos of the grooved surface,

As previously stated, Ti hosts will be 18500 only, this is due to machine and setup limitations. Drilling for 18500 is tricky enough without flood coolant.

I have no real way of measuring this and I'm not sure if you could get an accurate measurement considering the light is nickled. The finish you're showing is very close to the look of the Alpha lights.
