Remember this mod from 4sevens? Mine was further modified to accept an 18650 LiIOn cell for greater brightness, and greater runtime, plus, of course, rechargeable, as I posted here.

I'll be bidding a fond farewall to this one. You may have it for $75, shipping included.

I wil NOT be including a LiIon cell, because I only have bare cells and I don't want to be liable. You can pick up a protected 18650 from BatteryStation dirt cheap.

I can't readily find a pic of an ALX-1113... can you post a picture of it next to a well known flashlight? Is it much bigger than a Sam's Element or the Dorcy 3xAAA light with the flashy beacon mode thing?

Sounds like a powerhouse! Wonder what it would do with a U bin Lux III in there?

BatteryStation sells Protected Li-Ions??? I could'nt find any. Where about in NH are you??? I'm in MA

Very good deal!!!
You`ll definately N O T be disapointed with this light!
I own the same one and also use it with 18650`s. It´s much brighter and runs longer on 18650`s than on 3AAA`s!
It`s a great light and I like mine a lot !!!

I know AW sells them but he is overseas. If I could pick some up locally faster then I would rather do that. Anyone know how long shipping takes from AW to the states?

Protected LiIons here. Search for 18650 on the page.

Wrangler is right; brighter and longer running on LiIon; also quite flat output.
