OC that is cool, but I kinda like the holes on the 7 trit version for different viewing angles. Nice job though.

The appeal of this light is not the output. The tint and hi cri of the Nichia are known. I am looking forward to seeing the beam and runtimes.

I drive an 1986 Porsche 911. It is beautiful before I turn the engine on. And then you get that special sound. It isn't the fastest car, doesn't have traction control (or ABS breaks or good head lights or good windshield wipers, or good heat or air conditioning...). But that sound is to die for.

This is a beautiful light. When you turn it on, the tint will be excellent. I hope the beam will be great - that's the hard part in a small light light like an AA based light.

These pics look great! The good news....is that the design of the light and trit orientation really makes any color combo look fantastic!

Thanks Troy. The more time I spend playing with the Flutes, the more I like them. The execution of the knurling is amazing, and they make a great extended family when added to the Piccolo and P0 lights that I already have.

I'm quite confident that these Flutes will turned out to be one of the nicest lights that I owned. Great knurling, beautiful tail, perfect size, beam & emitter just the way I like it. Well done Tain :thumbsup:

Dave, those pictures are outstanding.
You might have to change your career.
The lights are great, as are you trit color schemes.
Its making it even harder to wait for mine to arrive.

Received my 13 trit Flute a ½ hour ago (all mean green trits). As usual, immaculate workmanship, good beam and color. Just wish I could mount a clip so I could EDC it (need to be able to clip it to my shirt pockets). Has anyone tried a 14500 in this puppy? I know Yitsan does not recommend doing so (heat issues, driver issues?) but will it work? With all these trits I won´t need to turn it on to use it as a night light! Well done Yitsan :thumbsup:

I think there was only a dozen of them in existence...and they were all pre-sold
