UPDATED Spy, McGizmo and Milkyspit Beam Shots!!

Well, folks, lest you think this is all I do, tonight my wife and daughter have been happily watching a 'chick movie'...so I was given 'permission' to do something I really enjoy doing! Tinker with my two favorite hobbies - flashlights and photography.

So I had a few requests - different levels, longer distances, etc. I changed the angle and spaced it out to around 100-125 feet. Same camera - Canon 40D with Sigma 18-50 2.8, 2.5 second shutter, f/8.0, ISO 800, focal length 34 mm. Hopefully these shots will give you a bit more of an idea of how awesome each of these lights are!

As usual, here's a link to higher resolution versions of the photos.

cheers,
I had the honor of seeing a Tri-V in person and, yes, it is that amazing. That could be twice as far and it would still be lit up. Amazing light.
Neat thing about all these beam shots is that you can see the good points of the lights regardless of their power or cost or whatever. It seems like the spill never looks as good in pictures as it does in person, the sand seems to equalize that tendency. (IMHO)
Great set of pics, run4jc!
