got mine today
will test in a bit as its dark now
just wondering wow do i know if its charged and nearly dead?
the led is blue at the moment

it says blue is charged and red is when you need to "replace". kinda vague imho but I would assume there's more detailed info in the manual.

Well every thrunite light are different.. my suggestion is when he see the red light, remove the battery and check the voltage. Simple.

Only this light has a battery pack, cells are not removable. You could still check voltage and divide in half for cell voltage.
