For this body, can the 4x 14670 LIR's be substituted for 3x 18650 LIR's (1800mA) ?

Prachtig !! Did you have fun sanding the backs of the McR-reflectors ?
For "optimum" focus with Cree emitters, I sand exactly 1.0mm from the back of the reflector...
Is it any different from your reflectors ?

I removed .035" from the back using my lathe and insulated the Cree contacts by using a teflon .010" washer.
