Twist - Smart LED Bulb That Plays Music

I stumbled across this today. Press release says its available Winter 2016 but their website says Early 2016.
They claim their bulbs will last 12-15 years, but it only comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Twist - a 10W LED bulb that has a AirPlay speaker built-in.
It mimics the Sun's patterns. Bluish-white in the morning. A warm glow in the evening. At night it emits a ambient purple light.

Part of their press release: "Twist's pre-sales campaign ocially launches today, and the company aims to raise $50,000 to fund production
of its first batch of lightbulbs that will ship in Winter 2016. The Twist package will cost $249 and will include one
Twist Speaker LED, two Twist LEDs and one Twist Dimmer."

Interesting! There is a combo floodlight/speaker on the market,forgot the brand- but it has been available for years,maybe Sonos?

Probably the IAV (Formerly Klipsch) LightSpeaker which goes into a recessed can.


I also know of Soundolier who made a light kit speaker for Hunter/Casablanca ceiling fans as well as their own torchier lamps.
