This was an impulse buy from Aliexpress (before I joined this forum) as I was buying other stuff from the same seller
So its a 2000 lumen
Chinese side switched light with micro USB charging port the listed spec was
Bulb: L2 LED
Material: Aluminum Alloy
Weight: approx. 113g
Power: 1 X 18650 Battery (not included)
Size: approx. 124 X 32 mm/4.88 X 1.26"
The UI is pretty simple single click on 100%, press and hold the switch and the light will fade down simply release the switch at desired brightness. When it gets the lowest setting you get a double flash then it'll increase in brightness. Double clicking gets you to strobe mode. Quick click at any point when on turns it off.
My impressions and thoughts
I'll start with what I don't like
1)It pocket activates really easily
2)The switch illumination is way too bright
3)No brightness memory it always starts at 100%.
4)Not sure I trust charging a 18650 battery in it.
The good
1)feels solid and you have to really shake it to hear battery rattle
2)You don't have to cycle through modes to turn it off
3)Strobe hidden
4)To me it throws a lot of light
5)The barrel is threaded the same both ends so the pocket clip can be reverse by simply screwing the head onto the tail end.
6) For £7 ($9.80) you can't complain really.
Apologies no in action shots its raining in the UK the month and probably next month too.
