Got the cap. works perfectly. I built an ROP 2 C cell light that had original AW- C batteries that eventually went bad with no replacements and the light has been out of commission. This cap with 2 18650s fixed the problem and now I have my light back.

Hey FM do these accommodate 26650's also or not?

Each "C" cell has diameter of about 25.5mm and 50mm long while 26650 has diameter of 26.5mm and 69.5mm long.
Adding some extension tube may componsate the extra length but machining and enlarging inside diameter will destroy the extension tail threads.
In order to accomodate pair of 26650 cells, you need 3C M*g and bored out to proper size.

These tail caps are 4mm deeper than original cap.

This might help,

My 2-C with 2x3500 18650 KeepPower cells, before the install of the cap. The marks that you see in the last pic that look like damage to the flashlight are reflections due to my poor lighting.

You can pull the spring out of the cap if needed and adjust length or tension but it was perfect for me.

I'm trying to figure be a way to utilize 21700 cells in a 2c mag.
the shortest ones I can find are 70.2mm.

You can use these with original tail cap but smaller tail spring.
Inside original tail cap must be machined so 21mm fat batteries will fit.

Got the tail cap but the tube you sent is not the tube for 2 18650 batts. its too big and wont fit inside the tail cap. I need the right tube.
