I have a 2014 nissan versa note. It for some reason came with 9007 halogens. I upgraded to LED which are great, but you cannot see the road surface when highbeams are on. I'd like to wire a relay to keep the low beam enabled when highbeams are put on. Do any of you have experience doing this to a 9007? I've only done so to an H4 years ago.

This is for LED diodes so it will cause no issues for the extra 2(4w) diodes to be enabled and is still much less heat and current than the halogen it had stock.

I'd look at adding or upgrading the driving/fog lights first.

The h4 and 9007 have the same three wires, perhaps your experience with the h4 is applicable.

Had an acquaintance who was in a similar boat. He just couldn't find a solution. In the end, he simply had his Nissan converted back to halogens. He decided it was too dangerous no to, due to living in a rural area and using highbeams on a regular basis.
