Blimey, all this kerfuffle! Reminds me of the title of the Shakespeare play "Much Ado About Nothing" !

I'm fortunate enough to have both the 6-flute and 8-flute PDs and hopefully the requisite counting skills to identify them!

Hi Dave,

The main difference would be age and LED used. The 6 flute PD is older and i believe it has a luxIII led. The 8 flute PD is newer and has a seoul P4 led. The mizer is also a reduced drive level for extended run times. I believe the drive level to be around 350 mA on high and the regular non-mizer PD has a drive level around 525 mA see this link for additional information:
