Wondering if this site is Legit...

Member Ronac made the Cryos Bezel Lights
(They had a failed specialty light "Function Flashlight" Here)

Website is active, up to date and lets you add product to cart; everything seems to work...
All prices are in USD. Copyright 2024 Cryos Illumination. Sitemap | Shopping Cart Software by BigCommerce

No response from email I sent them thru site.

Any thoughts?

I would guess it is no scam. If I remember correctly Cryos was in Canada. I habe a few bezels and tailcaps. But it is top long ago if they were in BC or somewhere else.
Singe I expect this business is a one man show or family Business you should expect longer response Times...

A web search on that pic, comes back to a CPF thread from 2013:

No price changes in 11 years, I would be skeptical.

I have purchased several cryos heads from them over the years. I think they are going under or else changing their product line because black C/P/Z Series heads have been out of stock for at least 2 years. Anyway, I didn't have any trouble with them back in the day.

Didn't see that thread! Wonder why he keeps the website current and functioning?...

I can add a Bezel to my cart and take it all the way to paypal.

2024 copyright at bottom the page...

Too sketchy and not worth the headache to deal with. They do look nice!

Fins reminds me of motorcycle cyls.. Carry a toothbrush along in back pocket to clean out the grooves
If there's a contact, find out availability before ordering?

Yep, I sent email on site and joined newsletter but got no response. Could be like someone mentioned "one man show" that they may take time to respond.

Just curious as I just spent $160 stones on a used one!

Brian is legit.
I've made several purchases over the years.
Most recently, May 2022 - Canadian customs destroyed/lost/misplaced my parcel.
Brian sent out another PKG asap.

These inbound from Canada (I'm not sure if more will be made anytime soon...)

I think what's left is: Blemished are discounted...
1 natural cryos cooling bezel (z44) (original smaller head) Blemished
7 black cryos cooling bezel (z44) (original smaller head) Blemished
2 cryos M2 cooling bezel in copper (M2 bigger head) Blemished
Some Tail-Caps raw aluminum Un-Blemished
Some M2 cryos cooling bezels in raw aluminum (M2 bigger head) Un-Blemished

Some info he passed on as far as parts you need...
Z44 bezel ring and lens:
For the standard bezel I would recommend a lens with a diameter of 28.6mm and an o-ring with an OD of 30.0mm. I run mine with a lens thickness of 2.0mm and an o-ring thickness of about 2.8mm so as long as your combined thickness is somewhere around 4.8mm you should be good to go using any standard bezel ring designed for the surefire 6p.

Lumens factory carries both lenses and rings.

- Do the Z44 and the M2 share the same lens. You gave me the Z44 lens link below. If they are different can you give me the link for the M2 Lens...
They also carry the M2 lens here:
https://www.lumensfactory.com/en/product_detail.php?pid=462

If not then you can try to source lenses that are approximately 31.5mm x 2.85mm. I previously purchased them from flashlightlens.com but it doesn't appear they carry them anymore. I had one spare that I am including for you. The M2 heads all include the required o-rings for the lens so all you'll need is 3 more lenses to use them.

The 6P host comes with the required o-rings on both ends so you won't need anything else.

Thanks,
Brian

Glad to hear everything arrived and that you like them! Those rings are spacers to use in the M2 heads if required. The stock M2 head has a shock absorbing feature which was removed in our design which results in a longer distance between the host to the glass. Drop-ins with springs can make up that distance with the spring but if you were to use a springless drop-in, the spacer is required to make up the gap to maintain contact between the host/battery and drop-in.

The 4th o-ring is already installed in one of the M2 heads so I have provided 4 of those spacers total for the 4 M2 heads.

Hope this helps!

Brian
