Just saw the Olight Ion. Looks pretty cool. Are there any other unusual lights out there? Nightcore did a lot obviously with the keychain segment. Anyone else doing anything else cool?

Was just thinking anything out of the box. Clearly a small flashlight with a "touch panel" made of glass is a little unusual.

Inova a few years ago did the small swipe to light or shine which was a touch sensing light.

Seems like it is about "cool" lights in general, not the Ion in specific. It can stand. The other Ion thread was moved to the Olight subforum.

Any links to any cool lights? I think what is cool is super bright lights in small packages or mega overly done super bright lights

TS mean "different" by the definition of "cool"? How about the touch/grab to light-up energizer 2xAA? Bad point is one must keep holding it to stay on though. :candle:

Energizer also did one where the beam can change from spotty to flooder by holding the on button. Does it on both low and high. $20 for the 400 lumen 2x aa at box stores.
