Hi,
I'm interested in getting another Armytek light and was looking at the newer "Magnet-USB" wizard lights.
This seems like a neat feature to have, not needing to open the light to recharge the battery inside means less chance for dust/water getting inside. Plus the charger is small and easy to carry.
However, comparing the manuals for the magnet vs non-magnet versions of these lights, I noticed they no longer lists primary batteries as possible sources of power.
Example:
Armytek Wizard
Power source: 1x18650 Li-Ion / 2x18350 Li-ion / 2xRCR123 Li-ion / 2xCR123A
vs
Armytek Wizard Pro Magnet USB
Power source 1x18650 Li-Ion
So is this correct? You cannot use primary cells (i.e. 2x CR123) in the new "Magnet-USB" Wizard lights?
Thanks!
