Two aluminum McGizmo gems from 2007. Both the PD-S and AMC (Aleph McClicky) Mule are users, and have seen countless hours of runtime.
The aluminum PD-S was EDC'ed in it's stock form for 15+ years until the tired Seoul P4 was replaced with a 4000K Samsung LH351D. With new o-rings and a light lube, it is ready for another 15 years of EDC duty. (Not my light.)
The "oil can" black AMC Mule is my all-time favorite for nearly every lighting task. I have used this light so much over the past 15+ years, the black coating has worn down to the copper plating underneath for a unique patina.
While not as durable as the current Ti McGizmo lights, these aluminum tool lights can definitely hold their own for the long term.
