I admit, Reality sucks. Where's the door to a happy delusion?
I know you already know the answer to that question. The door on the liquor cabinet where the bourbon is stored. 😁
Where all the cars are faster than a Tesla Plaid model, and the pit-crews are made up of capable, busty young women. 😎
Count me in. :yellowlaugh:

Thanks, MC. I appreciate that, and I'm sure we would have a lot to talk about. :geek:

So, not much happening with the 350. Rick needs to sell his wagon to fund Maynerd. However, there is this -

Before and after. The emblem on top was in worse shape than the other. Shiny Patina is the plan for the entire truck.

Man, I just read the Charger and Challenger are out for 2024. Jeep Cherokee too? My favorite remaining sedan, the Nissan Maxima? Gone.

They keep this up and soon all that'll be left are Mary Kay cars and pickup trucks. Sheesh.

Some lucky guy is going to buy two of these and put one in storage.
15 years from now the one in storage will be worth twice what he paid.
...that pays for the one he's enjoyed driving

Front end looks like a Chrysler? If he bought two, I highly doubt the one put away in storage will be worth much at all.

Hemi owners would likely disagree.
If you had three Dodge Chargers factory new from the 60s' in storage, you could retire.

Since only 11,000 426 Hemi engines made their way into Chrysler / Dodge / Plymouth products in the 1960s, and early 70s; today, they are exceedingly rare and very, very valuable. Don't believe us? Just take a look at this amazing 426 Barracuda Convertible that recently sold at Mecum auctions for $3.5 million dollars. Yes, $3.5 million! Not only are vehicles from this era exceedingly valuable but they also laid the foundation for the re-launch of the Hemi engine in 2003. Without the fanfare of the original Hemi 426, fans wouldn't have been foaming at the mouth for a new Hemi in the new millennium.

The 300 has this under the hood

In fairness HUGE difference between those muscle classics from the 1960s, vs. what Chrysler Group is producing today. But yeah, 15 years? I'd say try closer to 50. Then, maybe....

Would I enjoy a new 300 equipped with a 485 hp Hemi?

Did Ron White want to party on Dr. Phil's yacht?

The reason I posted the 300 above is:
~ it will no longer be made in just two days from now
~ looks killer
~ Hemi
~ again, looks killer

I'd take a burly normally aspirated V8 over a turbo 6,,, both will use about the same amount of gas*
Less moving parts in normally aspirated.

*can't have an engine going 'lean' = detonation

Last Wednesday, after 50 years I had a small reunion with my old SoCal car club members from '70-'73. Took my brother's '70 Chevelle SS.
Talk about a blast from the past!
That's the sound track of my golden days
