In another, now closed EV thread, said I would ask my neighbor about his Tesla when I saw him.
Talked with him today.
It's his daily driver six years now, he's still on the same battery bank it came with & it has 90,000 miles on it.
He said he saw no drop in ability to hold a charge, or make power. I'd say he probably doesn't know if it has 18650s' or 21700s' in it,,,,, guess it doesn't matter.
I forgot to ask about any maintenance, can't be alot on an EV
I'm not advocating EVs' /// but the battery life alone did impress me, has to be hundreds of charges.

Couple things: was super exited for 'The Captains' team getting pole
and
didn't think anyone in a flashlight forum was savoring watching Le Mans qualifying later that day
I was wrong.
Personally always thought qualifying was the highlight of a weekend at Road America,,, it's the only time cars & tires are pushed anywhere near 100%

Qualifying f1 is usually more exciting than race day. Passes are less too

Admittedly it looks good, and will likely have insane levels of uncontrollable torque.
